Lilianne turns two…and there’s nothing terrible about it. Although “no” has made it into her vocabulary, Lili uses it only when necessary. She loves to run, slide, jump, swing, build with blocks, put her dollies to bed, push her stroller and especially take rides on the back of Papa’s bike. Her sense of adventure and humour are quickly expanding. She likes to learn about the new things that springtime has to offer (bugs, flowers, the spraying water in fountains), and to make little jokes while at it. Her newfound favourite game is hide-and-go-seek. She now speaks in 3 to 4 word sentences (Mumum brush Lili teeth!) and loves to express herself. The concept of having two languages is also starting to sink in. She knows that Mum says “bat” and Papa says “chauve-souris”, however her own sentences often mix the two languages (Papa jouez a blocks). Her bright smile and bubbling laughter bring us joy every day.
