Her birth story: A quick labour - 8 hours in total on a rainy day, a significant part of it spent in the car getting from the grandparents LeBrun on the South shore of Montreal, a quick stop at the grocery store (yes, we're crazy!), then to the parent's appartment to drop off the grocery bags and get our stuff and then straight to the Birthing Centre. During that car ride, Jane decided to start a campaign to force Mayor Tremblay to fix all the potholes on the roads of Montreal!!!!

The birthing team: Midwives from the Côte des Neiges Birthing Centre: Marleen Dehertog and Micheline Leduc (who incidently was Jane's teacher during her stages, this being one of Jane's practical exams). Madeleine & Maryse also helped at the Birthing Center. Click here for a picture of the the birthing team.
